Planning & Zoning

The Planning and Zoning personnel administer all new development and homeowner improvements in the township.

Zoning

Every home addition, deck, patio, fence, pool, driveway, shed or similar improvement will require a zoning permit. The Zoning officer will review each application for township regulations regarding front, rear, side yard setbacks, impervious surfaces and building heights.

Planning

The Planning department administers the Planning Board and Board of Adjustment applications. Applications for "permitted" uses or conditional uses are submitted to the Planning Board. Applications for "non-permitted" uses or variances of zoning schedule requirements are submitted to the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
